Been Gone

Last week Ed and I were in Ohio for our grandson's graduation from high school. Of course, we are so proud of him. He was able to get off from his part-time job at Kroger for a few days and followed us home.

Things with Ed have slowed down somewhat. A couple of weeks ago they finally got the stint in, but it took them two hours to get it done. He stayed over night in the hospital. The same night of the day they released him, I had to take him back to the hospital because he was having breathing problems. Turns out it was from his blood being low, so they kept him three days that time, ran all kinds of tests and gave him two pints of blood. If I have already told you this, then I apologize for repeating myself. Anyway, we don't have to go back to the doctor until June 29th. They plan on taking the stint out and doing a biopsy on the blockage to determine whether or not it is a cancerous tumor.

I will be around soon to see what is going on with all of my good friends in blogland.

Congratulations to your grandson, and it's wonderful to read that you were able to attend his graduation!!! Pride indeed!!

Hope your dear man will be well so, so soon!!! Modern medicine is sometimes miraculous.

Now, Betty, about the Firefox browser with Internet Explorer taking over. First...go to your Firefox browser and then, "Tool" up at the top of your window/computer screen. Click on it...then, to to Options...click on it...then see the tab that says "Advanced"...click on it...then, click on the "General" tab...you will then see Always check to see if Firefox is your default browser...you'll see a little square, check it...and then click on the 'check now' button. I think, if I recall correctly, it will ask you if you want it your default browser. Click yes.

Now, don't fret tho, you can always use Internet Explorer from the programs section on your start button at the bottom.

Also, you may want to double check to make sure that Internet Explorer is NOT your default browser once you've select Firefox as your default....going through I E.

But keep Firefox your default browser and I E will not interfere any more. Or at least it shouldn't. LET ME KNOW IF THAT WORKED.

O, Betty, I have thought about you and Ed so many times..have wondered if thigs have gotten any better. Since you don't have to take him back until the 29th, maybe that's a good sign?

That's one very handsome grandson you have there! Congratulations to him on his graduation!

Seems to me that the hospitals always release people way too soon and a lot of them, like Ed, end up having to go back in again. I'm sure it's all because of insurance and them not wanting to pay but going back costs just as much - if not more - than keeping people a day or two longer does. Glad to hear that Ed is doing better now, though!
